I am very interested in playing in the USPA. If you would like to know the costs and what you get for them here it is(This is based on a minimum 10 man roster with 12 being the max limit):

Novice division TEAM COSTS

200 PODS

POD FILLERS

PAINT = 13 cases per match
Note: 8 matches in season = 104 cases ($64 a case)

PLAYER FEES ($280 a player)

Jersey

ID card

Note: all costs are for regular season and the sectional event. If the team does advance to the regional and possibly the national event additional funds will be needed.

You can check out the USPA here: http://www.xball.us/

If you're looking to play xball, definitely fun. Probably cheaper than anything else out there - though they have some weird rules and reffing.

Haha, Dmeyers...I played with them back when it was out of AAPP.

As far as USPA, Pittsburgh USPA might as well have been an entirely different USPA. The refs at the past Batavia events were pulling penalties/suspensions on us for no justifiable reason at all, other than we were winning against their teams. Got a suspension when I wasn't even hit! Same happened, same game, right before we were to play Drive, to my buddy who called for a paint check and made no forward progress. But were these calls made against the field's teams when they were actually cheating? Nah!

But, that's just our experience from last year. We felt so strongly about it we didn't bother playing the last event.

$150 covers your USPA Raza jersey, ID card and entry to all the events. Paint is not included.
